CRÔCK PÔT CANDY



INGREDIENTS

  • 34.5 ounces of dry roasted peanuts grilled with honey (I used planters)
  • 32 ounces of almond bark (vanilla flavor)
  • 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 ounces of German chocolate bar (by Baker's)
  • optional trim: sprinkles or crushed candy canes








INSTRUCTIONS

  • Layer the ingredients in the slow cooker (I used a 5-quart), cover.
  • Cook for 1 hour at low temperature. Do not stir.
  • After 1 hour, stir the mixture and continue cooking stirring every 15 to 20 minutes for another hour (2 hours in total).
  • Meanwhile, line the counter or table with a long piece of parchment paper.
  • Turn off the slow cooker. Use a tablespoon of 1 tablespoon to remove the candy from the slow cooker and on the parchment paper. Make sure the candies do not touch each other. Garnish with the preferred garnish.
  • Let cool completely.
